RUES PRINCIPALES

Corporation Rues Principales, now called Rues principales Lac-Mégantic, was founded in May 1992 by merchants and contributors from Lac-Mégantic. Enhance the economic revitalisation of Lac-Mégantic was the vision that had the founders of the corporation.

Organization’s mission

Rues principales Lac-Mégantic is an organization to develop and promote the commercial sector. Its mission is to:

•    Regroup businesses and services;
•    Represent members’ interests;
•    Submit recommendations;
•    Organize various activities to stimulate the commercial sector;
•    Guide commercial development;
•    Have a long-term development vision and give advices to its members;
•    Increase customer base in Lac-Mégantic’s commercial sector by promoting specialties and organized and harmonious development that takes into account touristic aspects;
•    Promote population’s interest for local sourcing, especially for Lac-Mégantic commercial sector.
