CIRCUIT HISTORIQUE ET PATRIMONIAL DE PIOPOLIS

Through this historical and heritage circuit you will discover the particular history of Piopolis’ Municipality, which was founded by Papal Zouaves in 1871.

7 panels within the circuit have been placed in 5 different places. These panels’ themes are as following: la croix de chemin and the old village, the new village development, the fire tower and the blacksmith’s shop, docks and the marina, and the old village’s dock.
Another panel is placed at the entry of the marina, a most visited place during the summer season.

On this panel is presented a map that represents Piopolis’ territory and indicates touristic and commercial enterprises within the municipality.

The circuit takes half a day to visit.
