A link between the Eastern Townships, from which the territory derives its letting go and open-mindedness, and Beauce, from which it derives the grit and fighting spirit, the Mégantic region is a territory where nature – still of raw beauty – invites you to settle there. The strength and serenity that emerge from the territory and its 20 municipalities create a living environment where ideas, from the smallest to the most astronomical, go from dream to reality. It is in fact in the Mégantic region that the first inhabitants of the territory of Quebec made their home 12,500 years ago. Long before the arrival of European settlers, the Mégantic region was already a welcoming land rich in resources.
