Scotch Cap
Located on the Rivière-Bergeron road (route 263) between Piopolis and Woburn, the main path is about 1.5km and goes throught magnificent mixed woodlands where you'll find beautiful maple trees followed by tall conifers at the top of the mountain. Once you've reached your destination, after a 30 to 45-minute walk, you'll get to see amazing views on two different viewpoints. The first one shows the beautiful white mountains and the second one the lakes of the area : des Joncs, aux Araignées and Mégantic. A 9.5km rustic, marked path is also accessible.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SCOTCH CAP IS CLOSED FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD FOR SOME FOREST WORK***
Paths du clocher
Another option would be walking the trails that cross Piopolis' marsh and forest. Two of the trails are walking paths and the third is a bridged one for a total of 3kms.
